Most people dream of being able to do well and hard smash, for it is a good volleyball player who is able to master all the basic techniques of volleyball very well not the exception is the rule of right and hard smash

A Spanish player, in red outfit, about to spike towards the Portuguese field, whose players try to block the way.

The attack, also known as the spike, is usually the third contact a team makes with the ball. The object of attacking is to handle the ball so that it lands on the opponent's court and cannot be defended. A player makes a series of steps (the "approach"), jumps, and swings at the ball.

Ideally the contact with the ball is made at the apex of the hitter's jump. At the moment of contact, the hitter's arm is fully extended above his or her head and slightly forward, making the highest possible contact while maintaining the ability to deliver a powerful hit. The hitter uses arm swing, wrist snap, and a rapid forward contraction of the entire body to drive the ball. A 'bounce' is a slang term for a very hard/loud spike that follows an almost straight trajectory steeply downward into the opponent's court and bounces very high into the air. A "kill" is the slang term for an attack that is not returned by the other team thus resulting in a point.

Contemporary volleyball comprises a number of attacking techniques:

Backcourt (or backrow)/pipe attack: an attack performed by a back row player. The player must jump from behind the 3-meter line before making contact with the ball, but may land in front of the 3-meter line.

Line and Cross-court Shot: refers to whether the ball flies in a straight trajectory parallel to the side lines, or crosses through the court in an angle. A cross-court shot with a very pronounced angle, resulting in the ball landing near the 3-meter line, is called a cut shot.

Dip/Dink/Tip/Cheat/Dump: the player does not try to make a hit, but touches the ball lightly, so that it lands on an area of the opponent's court that is not being covered by the defense.

Tool/Wipe/Block-abuse: the player does not try to make a hard spike, but hits the ball so that it touches the opponent's block and then bounces off-court.

Off-speed hit: the player does not hit the ball hard, reducing its speed and thus confusing the opponent's defense.

Quick hit/"One": an attack (usually by the middle blocker) where the approach and jump begin before the setter contacts the ball. The set (called a "quick set") is placed only slightly above the net and the ball is struck by the hitter almost immediately after leaving the setter's hands. Quick attacks are often effective because they isolate the middle blocker to be the only blocker on the hit.

Slide: a variation of the quick hit that uses a low back set. The middle hitter steps around the setter and hits from behind him or her.

Double quick hit/"Stack"/"Tandem": a variation of quick hit where two hitters, one in front and one behind the setter or both in front of the setter, jump to perform a quick hit at the same time. It can be used to deceive opposite blockers and free a fourth hitter attacking from backcourt, maybe without block at all.

There are different versions available for specific circumstances in order to offer the versatility of the game to everyone. The object of the game is to send the ball over the net in order to ground it on the opponent's court, and to prevent the same effort by the opponent. The team has three hits for returning the ball (in addition to the block contact). The ball is put in play with a service, hit by the server over the net to the opponents. The rally continues until the ball is grounded on the playing court, goes "out" or a team fails to return it properly. In Volleyball, the team winning a rally scores a point (Rally Point System). When the receiving team wins a rally, it gains a point and the right to serve, and its players rotate one position clockwise.

Volleyball is a complex game of simple skills. The ball is spiked from up to 60 cm above the height of a basketball hoop (about 3.65 metres) and takes fractions of a second to travel from the spiker to the receiver. That means the receiver must assess incoming angle, decide where to pass the ball and then control their pass in the blink of an eye. A purely rebound sport (you can't hold the ball), volleyball is a game of constant motion.

A team can touch the ball three times on its side of the net. The usual pattern is a dig (an underarm pass made with the forearms), a set (an overhead pass made with the hands) and a spike (the overhead attacking shot). The ball is served into play. Teams can also try to block the opponent's spike as it crosses the net. A block into your own court counts as one of your three touches in beach volleyball, but not in volleyball.

Power and height have become vital components of international teams, but the ability of teams and coaches to devise new strategies, tactics and skills has been crucial for continued success.

There are six players on court in a volleyball team, who each must rotate one position clockwise every time their team wins back service from the opposition. Only the three players at the net positions can jump and spike or block near the net. The backcourt players can only hit the ball over the net if they jump from behind the attack line, also known as the three-metre line, which separates the front and back part of the court.

Volleyball has developed into a very specialised sport. Most teams will include in their starting line-up a setter, two centre blockers, two receiver-hitters and a universal spiker. Only certain players will be involved with service reception. Players will also have specialist positions for attack and defence. Substitutions are allowed during the game.

Since 1998, volleyball bas been using a new scoring system. Teams scored a point on every rally (Rally Point System), regardless of which team served. Formerly, a team could only win a point if it served the ball. Winning the serve back from the opposition was known as a side-out.

Matches are played best of five sets. The first four sets are played to 25 points, with the final set being played to 15 points. A team must win a set by two points. There is no ceiling, so a set continues until one of the teams gains a two-point advantage. Previously, all sets were to 15 points, with the first four sets having a ceiling of 17 and the final set requiring at least a two-point winning advantage.

In 1998, the FIVB introduced a new specialist role: the libero. This player wears a different coloured uniform from the rest of the team and can be substituted in backcourt for any player on the team. The libero cannot serve, spike the ball over the net or rotate into the front-line positions, but plays a vital role for the team in serve reception and backcourt defence. There must be at least one point played between a libero substituting off for a player and going back on the court for another player – hence he/she cannot be on the court for the whole game. The libero has added an extra dimension to backcourt defence, improving the reception of teams, lengthening the rallies and giving a vital role to shorter players.

In a 5-1 volleyball offense, a team has 1 setter and 5 hitters. The setter sets in every rotation. This is different from a 6-2 offense in that not only does the setter set when playing on the back row, but also across the front row.

When the setter is on the front row...

Have players pass tighter to the net

When the setter is front row, the setter can also be a front row attacker. Passing the ball up closer to the net can give the setter the option to attack the ball. This can make it difficult for the opposing team to defend because a front row setter has the option to attack, tip, dump or set a hitter.

Have your backline players receive the serve

If your attackers are forced to receive the serve, it may be much harder to run an effective offense. Attackers being in a ready position to approach is even more important when the setter is on the front row because when the setter is in the frontline, you only have two frontline attackers.

Remember, these are just basic serve receive rotations. For example, in the drawing above, let's say the MF player wants to hit outside. The MF can move over close to the left sideline (as long as they don't overlap with LF) to be in a better ready position to get outside for an approach to attack.

Formations of Volleyball

The three standard volleyball formations are known as "4–2", "6–2" and "5–1", which refers to the number of hitters and setters respectively. 4–2 is a basic formation used only in beginners' play, while 5–1 is by far the most common formation in high-level play.

4–2

The 4–2 formation has four hitters and two setters. The setters usually set from the middle front or right front position. The team will therefore have two front-row attackers at all times. In the international 4–2, the setters set from the right front position. The international 4–2 translates more easily into other forms of offense.

The setters line up opposite each other in the rotation. The typical lineup has two outside hitters. By aligning like positions opposite themselves in the rotation, there will always be one of each position in the front and back rows. After service, the players in the front row move into their assigned positions, so that the setter is always in middle front. Alternatively, the setter moves into the right front and has both a middle and an outside attacker; the disadvantage here lies in the lack of an offside hitter, allowing one of the other team's blockers to "cheat in" on a middle block.

The clear disadvantage to this offensive formation is that there are only two attackers, leaving a team with fewer offensive weapons.

Another aspect is to see the setter as an attacking force, albeit a weakened force, because when the setter is in the front court they are able to 'tip' or 'dump', so when the ball is close to the net on the second touch, the setter may opt to hit the ball over with one hand. This means that the blocker who would otherwise not have to block the setter is engaged and may allow one of the hitters to have an easier attack.

6–2

In the 6–2 formation, a player always comes forward from the back row to set. The three front row players are all in attacking positions. Thus, all six players act as hitters at one time or another, while two can act as setters. So the 6–2 formation is actually a 4–2 system, but the back-row setter penetrates to set.

The 6–2 lineup thus requires two setters, who line up opposite to each other in the rotation. In addition to the setters, a typical lineup will have two middle hitters and two outside hitters. By aligning like positions opposite themselves in the rotation, there will always be one of each position in the front and back rows. After service, the players in the front row move into their assigned positions.

The advantage of the 6–2 is that there are always three front-row hitters available, maximizing the offensive possibilities. However, not only does the 6–2 require a team to possess two people capable of performing the highly specialized role of setter, it also requires both of those players to be effective offensive hitters when not in the setter position. At the international level, only the Cuban National Women's Team employs this kind of formation. It is also used in Women's NCAA play, partially due to the variant rules used which allow 12 substitutions per set (as opposed to the 6 allowed in the standard rules).

5–1

The 5–1 formation has only one player who assumes setting responsibilities regardless of his or her position in the rotation. The team will therefore have three front-row attackers when the setter is in the back row, and only two when the setter is in the front row, for a total of five possible attackers.

The player opposite the setter in a 5–1 rotation is called the opposite hitter. In general, opposite hitters do not pass; they stand behind their teammates when the opponent is serving. The opposite hitter may be used as a third attack option (back-row attack) when the setter is in the front row: this is the normal option used to increase the attack capabilities of modern volleyball teams. Normally the opposite hitter is the most technical skilled hitter of the team. Back-row attacks generally come from the back-right position, known as zone 1, but are increasingly performed from back-center in high-level play.

The big advantage of this system is that the setter always has 3 hitters to vary sets with. If the setter does this well, the opponent's middle blocker may not have enough time to block with the outside blocker, increasing the chance for the attacking team to make a point.

There is another advantage, the same as that of a 4–2 formation: when the setter is a front-row player, he or she is allowed to jump and "dump" the ball onto the opponent's side. This too can confuse the opponent's blocking players: the setter can jump and dump or can set to one of the hitters. A good setter knows this and thus won't only jump to dump or to set for a quick hit, but when setting outside as well to confuse the opponent.

The 5–1 offense is actually a mix of 6–2 and 4–2: when the setter is in the front row, the offense looks like a 4–2; when the setter is in the back row, the offense looks like a 6–2.

Volleyball Court Dimensions

A volleyball court is 18 m (59 ft) long and 9 m (29.5 ft) wide, divided into 9 m × 9 m halves by a one-meter (40-inch) wide net. The top of the net is 2.43 m (8 ft 0 in) above the center of the court for men's competition, and 2.24 m (7 ft 4 in) for women's competition, varied for veterans and junior competitions.

The minimum height clearance for indoor volleyball courts is 7 m (23 ft), although a clearance of 8 m (26 ft) is recommended.

A line 3 m (9.84 ft) from and parallel to the net is considered the "attack line". This "3 meter" (or "10-foot") line divides the court into "back row" and "front row" areas (also back court and front court). These are in turn divided into 3 areas each: these are numbered as follows, starting from area "1", which is the position of the serving player:

After a team gains the serve (also known as siding out), its members must rotate in a clockwise direction, with the player previously in area "2" moving to area "1" and so on, with the player from area "1" moving to area "6".

The team courts are surrounded by an area called the free zone which is a minimum of 3 meters wide and which the players may enter and play within after the service of the ball. All lines denoting the boundaries of the team court and the attack zone are drawn or painted within the dimensions of the area and are therefore a part of the court or zone. If a ball comes in contact with the line, the ball is considered to be "in". An antenna is placed on each side of the net perpendicular to the sideline and is a vertical extension of the side boundary of the court. A ball passing over the net must pass completely between the antenna (or their theoretical extensions to the ceiling) without contacting them

Overall Dimensions

The overall measurements for a Volleyball court is 60 feet by 30 feet. Each side of the court is therefore 30 feet by 30 feet in size.

Center Line

A center line is marked at the center of the court dividing it equally into 30 feet squares.

Attack Line

The attack line is marked 10 feet on each side of the center line of the court. Some rules show the attack line at 9' 10" however that includes the width of the line itself (2").

Service Line

A service line is marked 10 feet inside the right sideline on each back line. This is the area from which the server may serve the volleyball.

The Net

The net is hung directly above the center line at 7 feet 4 inches for women and 8 feet for men.

Standards

Volleyball standards should be set at 36 feet apart, 3 feet on either side of the sidelines.

Ceiling Height

The minimum ceiling height should be 23 feet. Preferably the ceilings should be higher.
Beach Volleyball Rule ~ Volleyballrule this occasion will explain for you about rule of beach volleyball, beach volley it's a amazing sport for me, i have play it every day, to increase our knowledge lets go volleyballrue will post anda explain abour rule of beach volley.

Instead of grieving on the state of the nation today or doing something like going to church, I went to the beach because it's hot, it's that end of summer and the Jose Cuervo Beach Volleyball Competition is underway at Huntington Beach, adjacent to the pier.

Beach volleyball is considered an important part of the local culture in many Southern California beach towns. Cities likeManhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Santa Barbara, and Huntington Beach maintain permanent poles and nets year-round.

In 1999, the FIVB standardized beach volleyball uniforms, with the swimsuit becoming the required uniform both for men and women. This drew the ire of some religious groups, who felt that the uniforms were more in keeping with "Rule 5" styles than general athletic uniforms.

According to FIVB rules, female beach volleyball players have the option of playing in shorts or a one-piece swimsuit. Most players, however, prefer the two-piece bikini.

Beach Volleyball has become one of the most popular sports at the Summer Olympics. In the past three Olympics, the American Women have taken home the gold medal. In 2012, they won gold and silver. I had hoped the superstar Olympic champs would show up at this game on Sunday, but I was told that they werehere on Saturday. (I was a day late)

The weather at 10 am was a balmy 75 degrees and though it warmed up later in the day, there was a cool off-ocean breeze.

And before you condemn me for posting up a Rule 5, I did not dedicate this post to the Cuervo Girls 'riding the lime'. It could be worse. The Cuervo Girls were there, but I didn't even think of pulling my camera out and shooting the video at the time. One might say that I was somewhat preoccupied. However this is roughly what it looked like last year:

SUBSTITUTION PROCEDURE FOR VOLLEYBALL ~ Volleyball is a sport played by two teams on a playing court divided by a net. There are different versions available for specific circumstances in order to offer the versatility of the game to everyone. The object of the game is to send the ball over the net in order to ground it on the opponent’s court, and to prevent the same effort by the opponent.

The team has three hits for returning the ball (in addition to the block contact). The ball is put in play with a service: hit by the server over the net to the opponents. The rally continues until the ball is grounded on the playing court, goes “out” or a team fails to return it properly.

In Volleyball, the team winning a rally scores a point (Rally Point System). When the receiving team wins a rally, it gains a point and the right to serve, and its players rotate one position clockwise.

On this Occasion Volleyballrule will explain about procedur Subtitution for volleyball, I hope you will understand it well so that it can play volleyball well, ok let's go ...

SUBSTITUTION PROCEDURE FOR VOLLEYBALL :

Substitution must be carried out within the substitution zone.

A substitution shall only last the time needed for recording the substitution on the score sheet, and allowing entry and exit of the players.

The actual request for substitution starts at the moment of the entrance of the substitute player(s) into the substitution zone, ready to play, during an interruption. The coach does not need to make a substitution hand signal except if the substitution is for injury or before the start of the set.

If the player is not ready, the substitution is not granted and the team is sanctioned for a delay.

The request for substitution is acknowledged and announced by the scorer or 2nd referee, by use of the buzzer or whistle respectively. The 2nd referee authorises the substitution.

For FIVB, World and Official Competitions, numbered paddles are used to facilitate the substitution.

If a team intends to make simultaneously more than one substitution, all substitute players must enter the substitution zone at the same time to be considered in the same request. In this case, substitutions must

be made in succession, one pair of players after another. If one is illegal, the legal one(s) is/are granted and the illegal is rejected and subject to a delay sanction.

1.3.3 Center line

The axis of the center line divides the playing court into two equal courts measuring 9 x 9 m (29’6” x 29’6”) each; however, the entire width of the line is considered to belong to both courts equally. This line extends beneath the net from side line to side line.

1.3.4 Attack line

On each court, an attack line, whose rear edge is drawn 3 m (9’10”) back from the axis of the center line, marks the front zone.

For FIVB World and Official Competitions, the attack line is extended by the addition of broken lines from the side lines, with five 15 cm (6”) short lines 5 cm (2”) wide, drawn 20 cm (8”) from each other to a total length of 1.75 m (70”). The “coach’s restriction line” (a broken line

which extends from the attack line to the end line of the court, parallel to the side line and 1.75 meters [70”] from it) is composed of 15 cm (6”) short lines drawn 20 cm (8”) apart to mark the limit of the coach’s area of operation.

USAV 1.3.4: For nationally sanctioned competitions, the extensions of the attack lines outside the court are required as described above. These extensions are optional for all other events. The coach’s restriction line is optional for all events.

volleyball Players Position ~ Hellow Volleyball. Once we learned the last post about the Volleyball Scoring Systems, it is time we learn the more advanced techniques of the description of the basic techniques of volleyball. in a sport or game that definitely takes its name formation and in each formation has different functions.

In that position players have roles and functions of each. they occupy a position in line with their capabilities. for it was on this occasion volleyball will share knowledge about volleyball in particular is a volleyball player position, just ok let's discuss, the following breakdown:

Volleyball Players Position

There are 5 positions filled on every volleyball team at the elite level. Setter, Outside Hitter/Left Side Hitter, Middle Hitter, Opposite Hitter/Right Side Hitter and Libero/Defensive Specialist. Each of these positions plays a specific, key role in winning a volleyball match.

Setters have the task for orchestrating the offense of the team. They aim for second touch and their main responsibility is to place the ball in the air where the attackers can place the ball into the opponents' court for a point. They have to be able to operate with the hitters, manage the tempo of their side of the court and choose the right attackers to set. Setters need to have swift and skillful appraisal and tactical accuracy, and must be quick at moving around the court.

Liberos are defensive players who are responsible for receiving the attack or serve. They are usually the players on the court with the quickest reaction time and best passing skills. Libero means 'free' in Italian—they receive this name as they have the ability to substitute for any other player on the court during each play. They do not necessarily need to be tall, as they never play at the net, which allows shorter players with strong passing and defensive skills to excel in the position and play an important role in the team's success. A player designated as a libero for a match may not play other roles during that match. Liberos wear a different color jersey than their teammates.

Middle blockers or Middle hitters are players that can perform very fast attacks that usually take place near the setter. They are specialized in blocking, since they must attempt to stop equally fast plays from their opponents and then quickly set up a double block at the sides of the court. In non-beginners play, every team will have two middle hitters.

Outside hitters or Left side hitters attack from near the left antenna. The outside hitter is usually the most consistent hitter on the team and gets the most sets. Inaccurate first passes usually result in a set to the outside hitter rather than middle or opposite. Since most sets to the outside are high, the outside hitter may take a longer approach, always starting from outside the court sideline. In non-beginners play, there are again two outside hitters on every team in every match.

Opposite hitters or Right-side hitters carry the defensive workload for a volleyball team in the front row. Their primary responsibilities are to put up a well formed block against the opponents' Outside Hitters and serve as a backup setter. Sets to the opposite usually go to the right side of the antennae.

At some levels where substitutions are unlimited, teams will make use of a Defensive Specialist in place of or in addition to a Libero. This position does not have unique rules like the libero position, instead, these players are used to substitute out a poor back row defender using regular substitution rules. A defensive specialist is often used if you have a particularly poor back court defender in right side or left side, but your team is already using a libero to take out your middles. Most often, the situation involves a team using a right side player with a big block who must be subbed out in the back row because they aren't able to effectively play back court defense. Similarly, teams might use a Serving Specialist to sub out a poor server situationally.

I think its enough. that can i have to learn more about players. to more detail on strategy and technique in volleyball. wait to next post. thank you, i hopefully it's help you.

Volleyball Scoring Systems ~ Hellow volleyball. Volleyball is a team sport played by two teams on a playing court divided by a net. The sport originated in the United States, and is now just achieving the type of popularity in the U.S. that it has received on a global basis, where it ranks behind only soccer among participation sports.

Today there are more than 24 million Americans who play volleyball. There are 800 million players worldwide who play Volleyball at least once a week. The object of the game is for each team to send the ball regularly over the net to ground it on the opponent's court, and to prevent the ball from being grounded on its own court. The ball is put into play by the right back-row player who serves the ball by hitting it over the net to the opponent's court. A team is allowed to hit the ball three times (in addition to the block contact) to return it to the opponent's court. A player is not allowed to hit the ball twice consecutively, except when attempting a block. The rally continues until the ball touches the ground/floor, goes "out" or a team fails to return it to the opponent's court or commits a fault.

The team winning a rally scores a point (Rally Point System). When the receiving team wins a rally, it gains a point and the right to serve, and its players rotate one position clockwise.

The best of three or best of five games will win matches. Each non-deciding game will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding game, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap).

SIDEOUT SCORING

Only the serving team may score a point, except in the deciding game when rally-point scoring is used. When the receiving team wins a rally, it gains the right to serve (also scoring a point in the deciding game), and its players rotate one position clockwise. Rotatation ensures that players play at both the net and the back zone of the court.

A team wins a game by scoring 15 points with a two-point advantage and wins the match by winning the best of three or five games. In the event of a 16-16 tie, the team scoring the 17th point wins a non-deciding game with only a one-point advantage. In a deciding game there is no point cap.

Definition of services volleyball ~ Hellow Volleyball. Still peeling on my friend all about volleyball and students. actually about we examine in detail the basic techniques of each item volleyball has different meanings and definitions. for more details in this occasion I will discuss first volleyball servicing problems. when we speak about we must serve him just hitting the ball to start the game, but it could be translated and how these services can actually be categorized and can be done in volleyball.

Beginning service only is the opening blow to begin a game, according to the progress of the game that the technical service currently only as the beginning of the game, but when viewed from the tactic has been to attack a team that started to gain value. Because kedudukanya very important then the coach and gym teacher recommended always try to create a basic form service techniques that can make it difficult for the opponent, even the service can kill your opponent to get the value.

There are several definitions of services including by Nuril Ahmadi (2007: 20), service is hit the ball from behind the line of the game field beyond the end of the net to the opponent, while Dieter Beutelstahl (2008: 8) defines service as the first touch with the ball. Service is also interpreted as the first blow that started the series of back and behind the ball in the game (Sarumpet A. et al, 1992: 95).

Based on the opinion of several experts on the definition and description of the service, it can be drawn a conclusion that the service is performed blow from the rear end of the field that started a series of back and behind the ball as well as the first touch with the ball.

The classification of services according to the figures, basically almost the same, the difference is in doing the translation. For example, M. Yunus (1992: 69) divides the service in the service hands down, service float, hook servise and service with a jump, while Nuril Ahmadi (2007: 20) divides the service in the underhand serve, floating service, service and jumping topspin service. Sarumpet A. et al (1992: 95) divides the service into three categories, namely service hands down, the service side arms, and hands on service

Now you have to know the meaning of service in a volleyball game, I think it's so first because I was too tired and we've me up for the distribution of typing. see u next time.

Hellow Volleyball rule, how are you today, i hope find. In this sesion I want to share with the readers about the history of volleyball . The reader must have known and heard what was the game of volleyball?. actually already know what the heck it's not volleyball, kalu not ya know I love the insight into what it actually Volleyball. volleyball in the know with the name mintonette. Mintonette sport was first discovered by a physical education instructor (Director of Education Phsycal) named William G. Morgan at the YMCA on February 9, 1895, in Holyoke, Massachusetts (USA).

William G. Morgan was born in Lockport, New York in 1870, and died in 1942, the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association) is an organization dedicated to teaching the basic teachings of Christianity to the youth, as it has been taught by Jesus . This organization was established on June 6, 1884 in London, England by William George. After meeting with James Naismith (the creator of the sport of basketball was born on November 6, 1861, and died on November 28, 1939), Morgan invented a new sport called Mintonette.

Similarly, James Naismith, William G. Morgan also dedicated his life as a physical education instructor. William G. Morgan who is also a graduate of Springfield College of the YMCA, creating Mintonette game is four years after the creation of sports game of basketball by James Naismith. Sports Mintonette game is actually a game that was created by combining several types of games. Precisely, Mintonette game created by adopting four different character into the game of sports, namely basketball, baseball, tennis, and the last is handball (handball). At first, this game created specifically for YMCA members who are no longer young, so this game is made is not as active-basketball game.

Change the name Mintonette into volleyball (volleyball) occurred in in 1896, the first game demonstration at the International YMCA Training School. In early 1896, Dr. Luther Halsey Gulick (Director of the Professional Training School Physical Education as well as the Executive Director of the Department of Physical Education of the International Committee of the YMCA) invited and asked Morgan to demonstrate the new game he had created in the new campus stadium. At a conference held at the campus YMCA, Springfield was also attended by the entire physical education instructor. On the occasion, Morgan took two teams in each five-person team.

now already know what it actually Volleyball. nah of it does not hurt us to know the ins and outs of the game also in Indonesia's Volleyball In Indonesia alone how ?, volleyball began to grow rapidly in 1962, just before the ASEAN GAMES Geneto IV in 1962 and 1 in 1963 in Jakarta. already know not the parent organization volleyball in Indonesia? ... ya little information that the parent organization's own volleyball game in Indonesia known as PBVSI (volleyball unity throughout Indonesia) which was established on January 22, 1955 in Jakarta simultaneously ongoing national championships the first volleyball.

Regulation was not originally specified any number of players in the team. In 1986 the name was changed to the game Volley Ball by AL Fred T. Halstead, who have watched this game, assume that the volley ball more appropriate to be the name of this game, given the characteristics of this game is played with a ball lobbed the ball before it touches the ground.

Since then not only played volleyball field covered but also the open field, yard-school yard, on beaches and other open space. The game is gaining popularity among both young and old, because it does not require that the field is too broad and the price is relatively cheaper and can be played by many people at the same time together.

Here are presented the regulatory changes volleyball game in outline from year to year as follows:

The year 1912 introduced a system of rotation.

In 1917 the system was replaced with 21 points 15 point system.

In 1918 the team set only six people who are in the squad and the net height is 8 feet (2.43 meters)

In 1921 set the center line under the net.

In 1922 each team allowed to play each ball only three times and then had to be ferried stricken opponent.

In 1990 the points system came into force on 21 points for a set.

Well it was a bit of knowledge about the history of volleyball. also want to know how to play volleyball right, first learn the basic techniques of the game of volleyball.

TECHNIQUES & MECHANICS USA VOLLEYBALL ( Rule 1 ) ~ To deepen our knowledge in a volleyball game would be nice if we know the rule that must be adhered to in the conduct competencies volleyball. Know more about the rules of the game of volleyball, before choosing to become a professional volleyball player, you need to know how the rules and mechanics of the rules volleyball in USA.

In this occasion volleyball will share a bit of knowledge about the rules of volleyball techniques and mechanics America. we just discussed together. the following breakdown:

1. Referee signal sequence

If the fault is whistled by the first referee, the first referee indicates which team wins the rally by extending the arm in the direction of the team that will serve (palm perpendicular to floor), then the nature of the fault and the player at fault if necessary. All signals are repeated by the second referee (except net serve and service beckon).

If the fault is whistled by the second referee, the second referee will indicate the nature of the fault and the player at fault if necessary. The first referee then indicates which team scores and serves next and the second referee repeats that signal. The first referee does not signal the fault or player at fault.

2. Second referee position at end of rally

When the second referee’s whistle ends a rally, s/he should step to the offending team’s side of the net and signal the fault. When the first referee’s whistle ends the rally, it is recommended (but not required) that the second referee steps to the offending team’s side of the net to repeat the signals of the first referee.

3. Illegal attack signal

Completely extend the arm straight up, hand open, on the offending team’s side, and make a downward motion over the net, palm down. Indicate the player at fault if necessary by pointing with an open hand.

4. Illegal block/screening signal

Completely extend both arms straight up from the shoulders (elbows are not bent), palms facing away from the body.

5. Second referee “ready” signal

Traditionally indicated by holding both hands in front of body at head height, palms toward first referee, making eye contact with the first referee.

6. Signal for same player making 3rd and 4th

Signal “double contact”.

That bit of knowledge about tecnique and mechanical engineering in the USA, for a more detailed regulations I will discuss in the next post. thank you

Before we learn more details about the game of volleyball, let us first learn from things as simple as the basic techniques of volleyball. Basic volleyball techniques must be carefully studied in advance in order to be able to develop the quality of basic engineering feat voli.Penguasaan ball volleyball is one element that determines victory or defeat of a team in a game in addition to the elements of the physical, mental, and tactics.

Let us learn more about the basic techniques of volleyball, in general the basic techniques in volleyball is divided into four parts:

Service

Passing

Smash

Block

The following detailed description of the description of the four basic techniques in volleyball :

A. Service

B. Passing

Passing the ball is pass down to their own friends in a squad with a particular technique, as a first step to preparing attack patterns to shift its development lawan.Dalam volleyball game requires accurate passing and skilled in order to have a good cooperation to win a game.

To achieve resounding success in doing this smash necessary high achievement and the ability to jump high. Smash will be achieved if the players master the basic techniques of other volleyball before a player can smash the existence of good passing.

Smash is a technique that has complex motion consisting of :

Step prefix

repulsion to jump

Hit the ball as it floated in the air

When landing back after hitting ball

D. Blocking

Block is an effort to stem the attacks of the opponent. In doing block or dam, a player can do it alone (single block) or do the herd. To be able to perform in a net block and successfully takes a lot of practice and the ability harsh.
